Sooooo, I just saw the new Harry Potter movie, and the special effects were extraordinary! It could have been a little more informative for those people who haven't read the book, but over all it was a terrific movie.
Sharky and TheDiscoBandit were there too.
Anyhoo, on Sunday, I'll to be making the trek up to Boston to go to a week-long rock music camp in Newton. I'll be staying with my uncle, who lives in an apartment in that area.
This is my third time going, so I pretty much know what to expect. They break us up into bands by age group to work on making up a song. At the end of the week, we all preform our original song in front of all our family members, friends, and pretty much whoever the hell else wants to come. They record the performance and send us our own copy of the CD a few weeks later.
The school that hosts the camp is one of the nicest school buildings I've ever seen in my life. It's private school, so obviously money isn't a problem for them. It's set up more like a concert hall than a school with numerous working elevators, a luxurious lobby, a stage, and a whole shitload of vending machines. Plus, it's air conditioned, so you can imagine how excited I am about that.
Sunday is also my birthday, so over all it's going to be a good day.
Thirdly, I had yet ANOTHER psychiatrists appointment today. That makes three in the last week and a half. There's not much that happened worth talking about, we just went over more relaxation techniques. My next one is August 25th.
On an unrelated note, I'd like to bitch about my stupid download that decided to take its merry time. The file is just the installation software for a freeware media program called MPC Star. It's only 21.5 MB, but for some God unknown reason, it's taking over 20 hours to download. 0.4 KB/s my ass, there is no reason why this should be taking so long! Ugh, just imagine what the actual installation of the program is going to be like. >:(
The reason I need to download it is because I downloaded a torrent of files that only work with this program. I tried several times to open it with my other media players, but every time it just crashes.
Well, it's looking like this news posts is going to be one of many subjects. Tomorrow (Saturday), me and my family are celebrate several birthdays. There's mine, my Meme's, and I think one more. We're going up to my Aunt's house where we are going to have dinner, cake, and open presents. Yay!
So, this concludes my news post. It's probably going to be my last before I get back on Friday.
Peace.
